The world is fast pacing into digital world, and most young people are turning into digital products to do their daily work and accomplish many things through their smartphone. Same thing also with real estate as people would be receiving payments in their bank accounts with a few bank details and a send payment button.

Leasing and sale are most likely the transactions that people engaged in real estate investing would do. They can now opt to accept payments through mobile banking apps and electronic wallets. Example of mobile banking apps include BDO, BPI, Security Bank, Metrobank, and more. Electronic wallets include GCash, Paymaya, Metrobank Yazz Card, Unionbank EON, Asia United Bank HelloMoney, Coins.ph, and more.

These mobile banking apps and electronic wallets offer so many features like bills payment, prepaid mobile number air time load, investing, government payments, and so much more. But what is lacking with them is the check deposit. Check deposit is usually done physically in the bank where you need to be available in front of the bank teller and nothing more. Furthermore, most lessors in real estate still prefer payments in check.

As a digital native like me, I prefer to do banking online. So long as you are aware of your credentials - username and password, you can do banking anytime, anywhere.

The banks with mobile check deposit offers apps in Google Play, Apple App Store, and/or Huawei AppGallery are the following (YugaTech, 2020):

ING Bank

ING Bank Mobile Check Deposit

Ing Bank is a digital bank in the Philippines with no physical branch. They exist through their applications and mobile check deposit feature is available in a very simple way. They even offer high interest rates as long as you put money to them, to the tune of astronomically high 4% per annum for a savings account! Other local banks offer low interest rates though. I highly recommend this one that you should try too. =)

PSBank

PSBank is a sister bank of Metrobank that has been in digital banking for a long time. Their app offers viewing balances without logging in - beneficial to those who do not want to login every single time. Their mobile check deposit feature is a breeze.

UnionBank

Unionbank is at the forefront of financial technology here in the Philippines. Electronic payments, mobile banking, payment solutions, and investing - they have an app for it. Mobile check deposit is available on their main app.

RCBC

RCBC Mobile Check Deposit

RCBC has been ramping up their financial technology spending too with their awesomely offered features on their app. It is rather surprising that those banks that are not in the Big 4 Philippine banks offers mobile check deposit. We can deposit any check and have it cleared in a matter of a few hours or days.

Asia United Bank

Last, but not the least, Asia United Bank. Asia United Bank has been making a scene lately, as they are the premier banking partner of WeChat Pay and Alipay here in the Philippines through their AUB Paymate App. For businesses in the Philippines, they can apply for AUB Paymate and accept payments from Chinese tourists or clients. For mobile check deposit, it is available in their main app.

For more details in these banks, you can visit their respective websites and download their app and try depositing a check today. Thanks also to Yugatech as the prime resource for this article. https://www.yugatech.com/guides/banks-in-the-philippines-with-mobile-check-deposit/
